At ABHS we understand that knowledge is power. During most awareness months, we host informational events and forums to help educate communities on the services available to them and their loved ones. It is also an opportunity for us to hear from them on their needs and experiences. We strongly believe that working with the communities we serve brings us closer toward the common goal of helping to create lasting change in the lives of our clients, their families, our staff, and our state.
Moreover, we are dedicated to erasing the stigma behind substance use and mental health disorders and believe that our community involvement helps to spread awareness and fight biases.
