Chehalis - Psychiatric Security Attendant

We are looking for Psychiatric Security Attendants to work at our Detox facility in Chehalis, WA. Scope of Work: Psychiatric Security Attendants provide patient care and security to detox clients and monitor for changes under the supervision of nursing staff. In this role you will document client status, record changes, and respond to client needs while maintaining order and safety in the facility. Psych Attendants may occasionally be required to utilize Seclusion and Restraint in emergency situations per WAC 246.337.110, ensuring all relevant medical staff are contacted in a timely manner Work Environment: Work is performed in a detox setting and requires contact with persons who have behavioral, emotional, psychiatric, social, medical and/or correctional problems and who may exhibit inappropriate non-compliant or aggressive behavior. As a direct care provider, the employee’s work involves providing physical supports and interventions for clients using program approved methods which may include moving or transferring. Wenatchee - Quality Assurance Chart Auditor

  • Maintain archives in accordance with ABHS and State requirements and perform record retrieval as necessary.
  • Act as a highly skilled weekly auditor for work performed by clinical staff in client files.
  • Provide the Administrator ongoing reports regarding the accuracy of client files, medication monitoring documentation, activity schedules, incident reports, and progress notes for client rule violations.
  • Conduct weekly chart audits for assigned counselors providing education, quality control and reassurance in a constructive non-confrontational manner, and provide weekly summary report to QA Manager, Clinical Supervisor(s) and Program Director.
  • Assist QA Manager and other administrative staff as directed.
  • Act as point of contact for procurement of supplies as assigned.
  • Understand and facilitate federal confidentiality laws, 42 CFR, protect client confidentiality/anonymity, and assure no information is shared without proper authorization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a college degree (or some college experience) and experience in work in file management skills.
  • Must demonstrate fast accurate auditing skills and the ability to understand state & federal regulations as they apply to clinical documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to hold staff accountable to complete work during auditing.
