Many people struggle with some type of mental health disorder, weather they are aware of it or not. While it’s not always easy to admit it, seeking help and getting treatment is important for your own overall health, as well as the health of the ones you love.
Through counseling you will discover genuine, workable solutions that can become the foundation to a happier, more fulfilling life. Our wide range of approaches at ABHS focus on finding the service that best suits your needs, and then providing it within a safe and nurturing environment.
Group, Individual, and Family Counseling
Individuals entering our crisis stabilization facility with an urgent/emergent need can receive crisis stabilization services in a safe, structured setting. We provide continuous 24-hour observation and supervision for individuals who do not require intensive clinical treatment in an inpatient setting and would benefit from a short-term structured stabilization setting.
Promptly upon entry, a comprehensive assessment of each patient is conducted to develop a treatment plan with focus on crisis intervention services necessary to stabilize and restore each patient to a level of functioning that requires a less restrictive level of care. The average stay at our crisis stabilization facility is 72 hours or less, with efficient and coordinated transfer of each patient to a less restrictive level of care following stabilization.
